Spa Etiquette

To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience.

Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications).

We recommend that valuable items be left at home. The Massage Place is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services.

PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment is due when services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard or Discover. If requested, we can supply you with a receipt of payment for you to submit to flexible spending accounts or insurance. There is a $20 fee for any returned check.

 

LATE POLICY

To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Spa heated bags and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit.

If a client is late, we will make every effort to give the amount of time scheduled for the session. The scheduled fee shall be paid if all the scheduled time can be made up or not.

If the therapist is late, the session will last the full amount of time originally scheduled.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 12-hour cancellation notice is required and a 24-hour notice is appreciated.
Time is valuable with respect to a massage therapy practice. Please understand that a lost appointment is equivalent to a loss of income and that someone else may have been denied a massage treatment.

We understand emergencies occur and sometimes appointments must be cancelled, but we ask that you respect our time. Please contact us as soon as you must cancel.

NO SHOW POLICY

All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. If you have a voucher from a discount site you will lose the full promotional and service value.

If you fail to show up for a second scheduled appointment, you will be charged 50% of the cost of the scheduled massage.

If you fail to show up for a third scheduled appointment, you will lose the privilege to pre-schedule future appointments.
